E5 FEEDBACK

We liked..... |
|

| |
Bringing the networks together. The opportunity to have conversations. Linking PoLT, e5 and P & D Culture. That powerful learning experiences were honoured in the structure of the day and the way in which the learning was scaffolded. Thanks Karen and Amanda J.
The format of the presentation – ‘living the e5 model!’ The range of activities and flexible groupings. Using the Black Book as a reference only (tool).
The opportunity to interact with a diverse range of fellow professionals. The style of delivery focussed more on professional development of teacher rather than heaps of content. Short, sharp, focussed activities.
A great PD – excellent presentation. Unpacked the instructional model very well. ‘Reflection’ on process at end of each session.
Structure of the day. Clear, explicit explanations. Opportunity to learn with other PCOs. Gain Amanda/Karen’s insights.
The variety of the activities were engaging, and we enjoyed exploring the elaborate plan and having the model explained to us as we evaluated our current position. Thanks Amanda and Karen

We learnt... |
|
| |
| |
A greater understanding of the e5 model. The interconnectedness of the domains. Developed a sense of common threads both within e5 and across PoLT and Assessment As, Of and For learning.
That e5 is about teacher practice (which then should impact on student learning). That e5 interconnects with the various models and constructs we currently have (eg PoLT.P &DC etc). We must build a common understanding and shared language.
The importance of being able to describe good practice.
Linkages e5 to PoLT, P & DC. E5 continuum (levels). E5 provides a framework and language to discuss and analyse teaching practice. Presenters understood links within DEECD.
We can really use this initiative to impact on professional conversations and bring about sustained improvement.
A deeper understanding of what e5 is aiming to achieve. Instructional leadership is crucial to improvement in schools.

TESTIMONIALS |

The (eUP) work that you have done with our team of teachers has been fabulous. The feedback from the teachers has been most positive. When I walk around the school I see that there is quite a difference in learning activities. There is certainly more discussion about learning and teaching.

I have found Amanda to be very helpful and in particular the planning
session this week. I think it was definitely worth the investment!! Working one on one with Amanda helped me understand the components of
eUP better. She also has magnificent ideas and does not hold back in
sharing these.
